String Quartet

Anna studied music at Sheffield University where she played principal viola in the orchestras and graduated in 2000. Since returning to Birmingham, Anna has given several solo recitals, plays freelance for orchestras and quartets (both acoustic and electric instruments). Anna also teaches the violin and viola privately and works for Birmingham Music Service.

Leonie has been a member of both the CBSO Youth Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestras with whom she performed at venues nationally including the Royal Albert Hall and the main stage at the Glastonbury festival. As a member of the Birmingham Conservatoire and Guildhall junior departments she has taken part in many of their chamber music and solo masterclasses. Leonie's quartet and quintet played in the finals concert of the National Chamber Music for Schools Competition.
